In order to complete the information conveyed in the press release issued on 31 May 2005 and to be fully transparent towards the market, it is hereby stated that Unipol Assicurazioni disposes, as of today, of shares equalling 9.99% of the ordinary share capital of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro S.p.A., of which 6.78% already acquired and 3.21% via option agreements.
