AUDITORS
The audit of the individual accounts and of the consolidated financial statements for UGF S.p.A. is entrusted to a firm registered on the Register of Auditors as per Article 161 of the Consolidated Finance Law.
Specifically, the Auditors have the task of performing the audit on:
- the annual individual and consolidated financial statements for UGF S.p.A.
- the half-yearly report, individual and consolidated, for UGF S.p.A.
The responsibility for auditing the accounts resides with KPMG S.p.A., which audits both the individual accounts and the consolidated financial statements, as well as conducting the limited accounts audit for the half-yearly report, including the consolidated accounts. This remit was conferred on the said audit firm for the period 2006-2011 by the Shareholders' Meeting of 3 May 2006.
KPMG S.p.A. is an audit and accounting organisation which belongs to the international KPMG network, has been operating in Italy for almost 50 years, and has grown in line with the development of the institution of auditing in this country.
KPMG S.p.A. is registered on the CONSOB Register and on the Registro dei Revisori Contabili (the Register of Accounting Auditors) and is one of the promoters and supporters of ASSIREVI, the Italian Association of Accounting Auditors.
