A LONG GROWTH PATH
Unipol Gruppo Finanziario S.p.A. has been operational since the 1st of September 2007. The company is the result of a reorganization process started by Unipol Assicurazioni at the end of 2006, which led to the separation of holding company functions from those of the subsidiaries.
Over the last 44 years – between 1963 and 2007 – Unipol has undergone a lengthy process of growth and consolidation, first as a composite company, then as the parent company of an increasingly multifaceted insurance and banking group and latterly with the devolvement of centralised and coordination functions to Unipol Gruppo Finanziario S.p.A.
