The Unipol Group is active in the insurance services sector with:
As at 31 December 2007, it was ranked as the fourth largest insurance group on the Italian market, with aggregate premium income approximately €8bn.
The UGF Group also operates in the banking services sector, with a banking group which includes Unipol Banca for the retail segment, and UGF Merchant for the corporate segment, Unipol Fondi and UGF Leasing:
Following its corporate reorganisation, all the companies belonging to the group to the Group are now held by Unipol Gruppo Finanziario S.p.A. - a financial services holding company.
